Why is the b at the front of the verb sometimes dropped in the present continuous tense? For example "shu 3am ti3mili" or "inti 3am tishrabi"

When a present tense verb is preceded by another verb, "ra7" (future tense indicator), or "3am" (present continuous indicator), the first letter of the present tense verb following gets dropped! This is just how it ends up being pronounced in this dialect!

It is confusing then and not aligned with the exercises "Humme 3am byshrabu ahweh" or Ma 3am baktub ishi mohim"
